"I ask you hese questions because it seems you don't actually have the instinct. Humans are quite narrow minded most times. Do you expect this one to spare you so easily?" He aske still trying to keep his voice hushed. "You go in and attack whoever that is, and you don't think that he would be able to protect himself, as you yourself, Whether human or beast, we all strive to live and remain,"

"Perhaps you'd like a deminstration of my survival instincts then," he growled through bared fangs.

The hairs located on his neck and back now stood tall. His ears tilted forward. His tail had rose slightly and its hairs were slightly rising. They were both signs that Lalem was ready to launch an attack , if nessecary.

"Maybe you're to weak when it comes to fighting, but I'm not," he snarled, narrowing his eyes once again.

Markus was about to journey further into the woods, when his horse suddenly gave a high-pitched whine. He turned around to see the horse suddenly buck up; his reigns stopped him from getting very high. The horse then pulled at the reigns, which were still tied to the tree. ‘What’s going on?’ Markus thought. He cautiously walked over to his horse to try and steady him.

Markus grabbed the reigns with his free hand and gently forced his horse to remain still. “Shh…” He coaxed his horse. He slowly released the reigns and let his free hand take its place back on his sword. Turning his head, he peered deep into the woods, knowing that whatever was out there, spooked his horse.

"Actually i'd like to see you have comon sense more than natural instinct, but i'm guessing you don't...And as for fighting, i guess that's the only way Animals can win..." he replied stressing animals. "But as for my strength...I can be quite brutel...when i want to be..."

He motioned for Kieko to go back to the trees just in case anything broke loose she would not be harmed. She did so a little reluctent, but followed theough.

He bit part of his pale hand, blood began seeping out. If the other wanted to fight, he would fight. He licked the crimson liquid. As soon as the liquid touched his tounge, his brown eyes flashed dangerously crimson, than brown once more, in a second, a smirk placed upon his lips. Though one that could not see his eyes only saw a flash of his eyes and smirk appear.

"And only then will the beast appear." Lalem's voice was deep, yet was nearly unnoticeable.
His words had been quoted from an old book which had now been banned.

His golden, almond shaped eye now appeared as a tiny slit while his blue eye remained the same. The expression upon his face made him appear demonic. His lips had curled and his muzzle was wrinkled. His fangs were still visible, but they were now more noticeable. His eyes, however, were what made him appear so mad. They held a lot of intensity. They glared at Jinn with pure hatred and animosity.

Lalem’s blood lines were not completely tied to Chaukera, the city which he’d been born and raised in. His mother had, had simple blood lines. She had no connections to Chaukera whatsoever. Lalem’s father was a Chamara though.
Lalem carried quite a few strains which connected him to the small village, but still carried the normal blood lines of his mother.
Although Lalem is capable of imagery transformation, there are conflicts when trying to appear as a grim or a human. For instance, Lalem some times appears as a grim when he’s angry or depressed. A child who has parents who both have the same pure Chamara lines does not suffer from this.
Lalem may also appear as a Grim for a period of time which Lalem can’t control. Pure Chamaras are able to control their abilities. Lalem also comes into conflicts with his animal side. Grims are always nasty, menacing creatures. Lalem has adapted their personality. He also may be inclined to do an action which a grim might do. An example would be if Lalem were to howl to near grims, explaining that he’s lonely.
And finally, unlike pure Chamaras, Lalem has developed an eye which belongs to a grim. It appears on him whether he’s a grim or a human. It’s the one thing which tells people that he’s not truly a grim/ human.
This is partly the reason why Lalem is so angry at times or does the actions he does.
( I apologize for the load of boring information. I need to explain this though in order for people to see why Lalem has such a fowl personality.- Now that, that‘s finished….)

Lalem lunged forward, his mouth opening and his fangs preparing to cut through flesh. His eyes had focused on Jinn’s neck, a usual target for some one who’s looking to kill. ( Will Lalem injure Jinn at all, or will Jinn simply block Lalem’s attack and pursue his own? Lalem knew that the his first approach to Jinn would not be lethal.

Lalem though extremely highly of himself. He would challenge mostly any one. Perhaps he was too dumb to know that not every fight is worth fighting in.

(it's cool)

"I see, even a beast can read..." Jinn smirked. Jinn rarely fought. For one of the undead he was actually pretty compasonate. But when the time came...he would give no mercy. (That is until the adreniline has left his body). He merly moved to the side as the animal came crashing towards him. He jumped up and went down with his hands first.

As said before, Jinn is very compasonate. But like many of his old friends, whenever he has the taste of blood within him, the desire for it fuels him. He is a bloos thirsty fiend in thse times. Only on the full moon does that not happen. The rest of the time, he would fight anything, with that drive.

As soon as his paws touched the ground, Lalem turned and lunged forward. He'd targeted his wrist this time. If he could get a a grip on on Jinn's wrist, he might be able to pull Jinn downward. this would give him a better chance at injuring Jinn.

Lalem didn't respond to Jinn's sarcastic comment, however, his eyes narrowed even more.

Lalem cought his wrist unfortunatly. He decided kicking the other would do. He swung around with his wrist captured, , he kicked it's side than fell to the ground. He fell on his side and his hood fell off revealing his metalic silver hair and leering brown eyes.

Lalem landed on his left side firmly, but quickly manuevered himself to his feet. He launched forward once again. He now stood beside Jinn. He stared into his eyes.

He was now an easy target. He could end Jinn's life with a bite to his neck.

Lalem's golden, slitted eye appeared as it had once before. His fangs were hidden as his his lip drew downward. His jaws now closed. The hair that lined his neck and back returned to its normal position.

He slowly backed up towards the limb of a tree. Within seconds he appeared as his human self. He slowly leaned backwards, bringing himself to a sitting position.

His attention focussed on Jinn.

Jinn groaned getting up. He noticd Lalem had for some reason backed off. He took the chance to get to his feet, in case the other was going to attack. He turned and looked over to the tree, spotting the human form he had seen before.

The adreniline in his body was still high but left let him become in control once again. It was good he only took a little.

Normally he would go crazy and suck more of the crimson liquid from his opponent than go on a blood spree which would end desaturously (sp?). Which is one reason he rarely fought.

He walked up to the human, jinn was soewhat hurt, but nothing less than normal. "Gomen nesai...are you hurt" he apologised in a low tone.

(hey where is last call for sin?)

Lalem nodded slightly to show he wasn't hurt. 'Why is he apologzing?' Lalem wondered.

He reached for the lower end of his shirt. Bringing it to his chin, he carefully wiped the blood which as trickled down Lalem's chin.
There was some thing about human blood which made him sick. Although he wasn't feeling sick currently, he might later on. If he swallowed larger qauntities of human blood when biting ssome one, he'd get extremly sick.

He sighed deeply.

"Good" He sighed. 'Look i apologize for starting that fight...It wasn't my place" He bowed his head. By now most of his control has come back and he regreted getting into a fight with this creature. He had no right and he knee it. "You know..you should just spit it out if you don't want to swollow it..." he remarked noting that lalem was wiping his blood of and swollowing it at the same time.

Many of his close friends died by human hands and the only thing he did was watch...and run. He ran away frightened and now regret seeped through him. He hated humans(okay most humans), but also hated just watching another get killed by them even more. But that was no excuse to start all of this.
